Listed below is the Akron SHRM's member application process:

  1. Complete the online membership application.

  2. Complete the Akron SHRM Primary Chapter Designation Form (click here) .

    PLEASE NOTE: Professional Membership in Akron SHRM is FREE for all national SHRM members who quailify and designate Akron SHRM as their primary chapter. However, all Associate Memberships in Akron SHRM, including any members who do not designate Akron SHRM as their primary chapter, will pay $50 annual dues to this local chapter.

  3. Akron SHRM’s Board of Directors will review all completed, new member applications during the board meeting following receipt of complete materials for review and approval.
